Testing was carried out as part of an assessment prior to development of the site. The owner wishes to erect two fully serviced dormer-style dwellings. The site lies c. 80m north of SMR 42:4(06). A rath, SMR 42:3, lies c. 750m to the west of the site. Six trenches were dug on the dual site. Trenches 1–3, 5 and 6 measured 10m long and 2m wide. Trench 4 measured 20m long and 2m wide. The monitor revealed no material of an archaeological nature.
