Monitoring revealed only one small area of archaeological material. This was a flat-based, rounded pit, 1m in diameter and 0.8m deep, filled with large stones. The stones are likely to have been a modern infill, but, in the absence of any artefacts or charcoal concentrations within the base of the pit, dating of this feature was impossible.
