Monitoring of topsoil removal was undertaken within the confines of Seymour Hill Industrial Estate, Dunmurry, Co. Antrim. The work was undertaken prior to extending a warehouse located directly to the west of the site during the construction of which an earthen bank had been created from the spoil upon the area subject to monitoring. This bank of material was removed along with the original topsoil to reveal the underlying clay subsoil. There were archaeological deposits uncovered during the investigation on the site.
