Monitoring was undertaken in advance of the construction of a new GAA playing pitch. The 15,000m2 area was ploughed before topsoil-stripping commenced to record any potential find 'hot-spots'—finds recovered included three flints and a collection of modern ceramic fragments. After topsoil-stripping, a small circular pit was recorded and excavated to a depth of c. 0.23m. However, no artefacts or other features were associated. A shallow spread of charcoal was recorded and excavated towards the north end of the site. However, no artefacts or other features were associated.

No further features or artefacts of archaeological significance were recorded as a result of the monitoring programme.
