Archaeological works were carried out in advance of development at the Ballygally Castle Hotel. The construction works involved the demolition of the hotel restaurant and the construction of a new restaurant facility. Monitoring of topsoil removal for a set-down area and excavation of the foundation trenches was conducted. The monitoring revealed no evidence of archaeological deposits.
