Testing was carried out on the site of a proposed development at Ballyknockan, Valleymount, Co. Wicklow, on 1 October 2003. The site is near a possible fulacht fiadh which was on the north bank of the stream close to the site. Three trenches were opened. The stratigraphy on the site consisted basically of topsoil upon the sandy natural. No archaeological deposits or artefacts were encountered.
