Monitoring of the excavation of two foundation trenches was undertaken at the site of a proposed development at the corner of Selskar Street and Well Lane, Wexford, in December 2002 (Excavations 2002, No. 1939). The site is within the zone of archaeological potential for the town, c. 50m north-east of Selskar Abbey.

Two further foundation trenches were monitored in January of 2003; nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered on the site.
