Two post-construction test-trenches totalling 36m2 were excavated to the rear and side of a new three-storey apartment block at 26 and 28 Lower John Street. The site is within the zone of archaeological potential for Wexford town, 70m south of the medieval parish church of St John's, SMR 37:32(15). The excavation uncovered nothing of archaeological significance.
