The site at Killoteran 6 was not available for centre-line trenching in March 2002. However, a geophysical survey was undertaken under licence 02R032 and this revealed a number of linear anomalies which were recommended for further investigation.
An area measuring 40m by 50m was mechanically excavated around the features. Subsequent investigations revealed the features to be drains and furrows of no archaeological significance.
