Monitoring of topsoil-stripping and the removal of overburden was undertaken at a site adjacent to 33A Main Street, Castlederg, Co. Tyrone, which was being developed to erect a two-storey commercial unit. The site was located 120m to the north-east of the 15th-century Castlederg Castle, SMR 16:16. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered during the investigation.
