Monitoring was undertaken for groundworks associated with the construction of a two-storey building. The development was located within the zone of archaeological potential for the town of Nenagh, SMR 20:37. A 1m depth of material was excavated at the rear of the site. It consisted generally of rubble fill and modern piping. Nothing of archaeological significance was discovered during the monitoring.
