Site 6 on the N8 Cashel Bypass and N74 Link Road scheme was previously tested by Anne Marie Lennon (Excavations 2002, No. 1745, 02E0375). Further testing was recommended as part of Phase 2 investigations. In total, six trenches were excavated between Chainages 6810 and 6830.
A number of probable post-medieval cultivation furrows and two possible post-holes were identified. Both post-holes were fully excavated, but no diagnostic finds or dating evidence were recovered. The plough furrows were identical to others excavated in Monadreela.
