Phase 2 testing on the N8 Cashel Bypass and N74 Link Road scheme by Neil Fairburn (No. 1719, Excavations 2003, 03E0295) revealed two pits. An area of 2400m2 was topsoil-stripped around these between Chainages 3730 and 3840. This work revealed further possible post-holes and one further pit. No dating evidence for the site was retrieved.
