Pre-development testing was undertaken on the site of a dwelling-house and associated groundworks at Ballymore, Cashel. The site is near an enclosure. Five trenches were opened. The stratigraphy uncovered in each of the trenches was similar: topsoil overlying compact sterile subsoil at a depth of 0.2-0.3m. Nothing of archaeological interest was uncovered.
