The proposed development, to consist of eight houses, access and services, is located just outside Tobercurry, Co. Sligo, on the site of a disused quarry and near a souterrain. Testing was carried out on 6 June 2003. Four trenches, 1m wide and 30m, 70m, 100m and 110m long, were excavated by machine across the portion of the proposed development located in the areas not previously quarried. There was no evidence of any archaeological activity on the site.
