Monitoring of ground disturbance works was undertaken during the first phase of construction at a site proposed for development as a business and technology park in Finisklin, Co. Sligo. This initial phase of construction involves the diversion of overhead cables to underground ducting, the construction of an access road, the construction of boundary walls and the creation of a landscaping feature in the form of a large pond. Topsoil was stripped from the areas impacted by these works and in advance of construction. No archaeological features were disturbed or uncovered.
