The site for a house and works, 25m by 18m, at Cooldrumman Lower, Cashelgarron, Co. Sligo, was monitored. There was 0.15-0.35m of brown topsoil with few stones. Beneath that was the undisturbed dauby glacial deposit, with sandstone.

Considering that there was a farmyard and cottage adjacent to the site, there were very few scraps of broken crockery. There were no indications of archaeology.
