The site for a house and works, 25m by 18m, at Cooldrumman Lower, Cashelgarron, Co. Sligo, was monitored. There was 0.15–0.35m of brown topsoil with few stones. Beneath that was the undisturbed dauby glacial deposit, with sandstone.
Considering that there was a farmyard and cottage adjacent to the site, there were very few scraps of broken crockery. There were no indications of archaeology.
