The proposed development is located outside Ballymote, Co. Sligo. It is near two monuments. The site is c. 0.5 acres in size and virtually featureless. The proposed development will include a house, garage, entrance and domestic treatment plant/percolation area. Testing was carried out on 30 June 2003. Five trenches were excavated by machine. All measured 10m by 1m and were excavated to the depth of undisturbed natural. No archaeological remains were revealed.
