Pre-construction testing was undertaken at the site of a proposed dwelling-house and associated site works at Cloonacurra, Co. Sligo. The site is close to a rectangular enclosure.
Nine trenches were opened. No archaeological features were revealed in any of them. The only noticeable find was a modern pit, in which were the remnants of clearance and burning of scrub vegetation.
