Testing was carried out for the Beltra Group Water Scheme in County Sligo in August 2003. The proposed scheme is situated in Carrowgilpatrick, c. 2km to the north-west of Beltra village, and entails the construction of pipelines, reservoir and treatment works. It is within an archaeological complex. Three test-trenches were excavated. Nothing of archaeological significance was observed.
