The proposed development, to consist of a house, access, garage, septic tank and percolation area, in addition to timber-post fencing, is located outside Tulsk, Co. Roscommon, just off the Roscommon road. The site is beside a D-shaped enclosure. Testing was carried out on 18 November 2003. Six trenches, measuring 10m by 1m, were excavated across the site of the proposed development to a depth of 0.4-0.5m. No archaeological features or finds were uncovered during the course of the excavation.
