The proposed development, the construction of a house and access with a connection to the town sewerage system, is located just east of Boyle, Co. Roscommon, and within the zone of archaeological potential for the Templenadrine archaeological complex. An assessment including testing was carried out. Three trenches were excavated by machine across the site. No evidence of archaeological activity was revealed in any of the trenches.
