Monitoring was undertaken of construction of a dwelling-house and associated site works. The development site is close to a recorded monument, an avenue. No archaeological remains were found in the course of monitoring. The only feature of note was a band of stone between the sod and topsoil in one part of the site. It appeared to be the remains of a removed field boundary.
