Several minor earthmoving activities on the site of the Battle of the Boyne, Oldbridge Demesne, Co. Meath, were monitored. The second phase of work required the rerouting of an ESB cable below ground, to facilitate conservation works on Oldbridge House. The turf to the front of Oldbridge House was also stripped in one area, and the ground level was reduced by c. 0.3m to lay a hard-stand. This took place from 3 December 2002 to 23 January 2003. No finds or features of archaeological significance were uncovered in the work.
The third piece of work was the monitoring of two pits for replacing ESB poles in the large field to the east of the Sheephouse road, where SMR 20:4 and SMR 20:30 are sited. This took place on 23 January 2003.
