The site was previously tested by Brian Shanahan (Excavations 2001, No. 979, 01E0979), and no archaeological material came to light. The existing late 19th- to early 20th-century building on the site was demolished, and the excavation of foundations for a new building on the same footprint was monitored. The monitoring revealed no material of an archaeological nature.
