Planning permission was granted to construct a two-storey dwelling-house with septic tank and percolation area at Dervor, Carnaross. Monitoring during all groundworks was required, as the site of an earthwork (SMR 10:22) is marked in the same field. Monitoring was carried out during topsoil-stripping and foundation excavation. At the south-west corner of the cleared area there was a deposit of dumped stone and ash, of modern date, within the topsoil.
