A narrow trench c. 0.7m wide and c. 0.9m deep was mechanically excavated for the broadband fibre network in Kiltimagh town. The trench ran through an area of archaeological constraint around a ringfort in the north-west sector of the town. Monitoring took place for the duration of the nine-week scheme. Nothing of archaeological significance was found during the monitoring.
