The development at Glaspatrick, Westport, consists of a private house and driveway. Nine test-trenches, from 7 to 60m in length, were dug in a field between a univallate rath to the east and an early ecclesiastical site to the west. There was no evidence of archaeology from any of the trenches; the only items recovered were natural (numerous white quartz stones) and various sherds of modern pottery.
