Monitoring of a path development within the protected area of ecclesiastical remains, earthwork(s), abbey, house, burial ground, tomb and cross identified a burnt mound of a probable fulacht fiadh at the base of a 0.5m-wide trench c. 0.5m below the surface, for a length of 2.2m. As the development will not impact on the site, it was preserved in situ. Some minor works are due to be completed in 2004.
