An assessment was carried out on a proposed dwelling-house and associated domestic garage and wastewater treatment system in the townland of Dunmahon. The site is on a south-facing slope within a field currently under pasture and near the site of a possible souterrain (SMR 12:16). Seven test-trenches were excavated to the depth of the subsoil. No archaeological features or deposits were identified.
