A new phase of monitoring (for Phase 1, see Excavations 2000, No. 223) was carried out at a residential development site on the Slane Road, Drogheda, on behalf of Argyle Developments, within the area of the site currently under development, consisting of six houses. The monitoring took place on 1 and 2 April 2003 and no archaeological features or deposits were exposed.
