Monitoring was undertaken for groundworks associated with the development of a dwelling-house at Rockfarm, Caherline, Co. Limerick. The development area was located within the zone of archaeological potential for a group of enclosures (SMR 23:169). A 20m by 20m area was stripped for the house site to the south of an access track. The depth of topsoil excavated was 0.3m. Nothing of an archaeological nature was noted during the works.
