Monitoring took place of the excavation of two service trenches associated with four houses that were constructed some time ago. The development lay within the zone of archaeological potential for the medieval town of Limerick, SMR 5:17. Both articulated and disarticulated human remains were uncovered during the monitoring. These were excavated under licence 03E1364 (No. 1175 below).
