Monitoring took place of groundworks located inside the zone of archaeological potential for the medieval town of Limerick, SMR 5:17. The northern side of the site is formed by an extant portion of the medieval wall of the Irishtown of Limerick, built some time between the 13th and 15th centuries. Nothing of an archaeological nature was noted during monitoring of site works.
