Monitoring was undertaken for groundworks associated with the extension to the Adare and District Nursing Home, in Croagh, Co. Limerick. The development area is located within the zone of potential of the historic town of Croagh. This site was stripped without the presence of an archaeologist. The majority of the natural subsoil was visible once the topsoil was stripped, but portions of the site had been trunked over. Nothing of an archaeological nature was noted during the site inspection of the stripped areas.
