The proposed development, to consist of a house, garage, site entrance and septic tank/percolation area, is located outside the town of Mohill in Co. Leitrim. It is within the zone of archaeological potential of a ringfort, located in the adjacent field to the north. Testing was carried out on 8 February 2003. Five trenches, measuring 10m by 1m, were excavated across the site. All were excavated to a depth of between 0.25 and 0.4m. No archaeological features or finds were uncovered during the course of the excavation
