Monitoring was carried out at Portlaoise Golf Course during earthmoving activities associated with the development of the course into an eighteen-hole facility. The development involved modification of the existing course, the creation of five new greens and the excavation of an ornamental pond. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered.
