Monitoring of topsoil removal was carried out on the site of a proposed horse stable at Kilminfoyle House on 10 January 2003. The development site is located c. 80m north of an ecclesiastical site. An area of c. 16m2 was stripped of topsoil. The topsoil was 0.1–0.3m in thickness and overlay orange silty/clayey sand subsoil. No archaeological material was discovered.
