This site encompasses a group of pasture fields, some forested land and a wetland area in Newrath townland, Kilculliheen. It is directly north of the N9, just beyond the Waterford city boundary. It was tested as part of a second stage of advance work designed to cover areas not tested in 2002. Testing revealed the remains of post-medieval field systems and drainage works, outhouses, forestry and kilns. The most significant finds on the dry land were a pit containing a polished stone axehead of Neolithic date and an oven/hearth. Some burnt-mound pits, platforms and trackways were found in the wetland.
