Monitoring was conducted during the initial phase of construction for a development of thirteen houses in the south-eastern quadrant of Graiguenamanagh, on the fringes of the zone of archaeological potential. An area at the northern end covering approximately one-third of the total area of the development was raised above the remainder by 1m to 2m. This was found to be the result of 20th-century landscaping. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted during the topsoil-stripping.
