Testing was carried out as part of the planning schedule for a single-house development adjacent to an enclosure and field system (SMR 32:17(01)) at Rathsillagh Upper, Athy. A series of trenches were excavated by mechanical digger at the house site, entrance and stables. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed.
