Monitoring took place on the 2 July 2003 at a development site on the corner of Pigeon Lane and Monasterevin Road, Kildare. The site, which is just outside the zone of archaeological potential for Kildare town, had been partially stripped prior to monitoring. Monitoring of the re-stripping of these areas and the stripping of the topsoil from the rest of the site did not reveal any features of archaeological significance.
