Testing was carried out at the eastern end of Dublin Street, Kildare, on 11 September 2003. The site lay within the zone of archaeological potential for Kildare (SMR 22:29) and was within the attendant grounds of a protected structure. Three trenches, orientated north–south, were excavated, two within a single-storey shed and one parallel to the exterior of the two-storey sheds outlined for development. Nothing of archaeological significance was recorded during the testing.
