Test-trenches were excavated before construction of nine dwellings with associated access roads and services at a development site located c. 2km southwest of Ventry village on the southern side of the Dingle Peninsula.

Twenty-two trenches were excavated. The results were similar throughout the site and no archaeological material was recovered.
