Testing and subsequent monitoring were undertaken in advance of the construction of a number of apartments to the rear of 55 Moyderwell, Tralee. The general stratigraphy consisted of topsoil, which overlay an orange/brown subsoil, which in turn overlay a compacted light-brown/yellow sandy gravel. The testing revealed one small fragment of medieval pottery close to the roadway, while traces of a 20th-century cobbled surface were also noted at the site.
