Monitoring of groundworks was carried out in advance of the construction of a housing development. The development area is located in the vicinity of the zone of archaeological potential for SMR 16:12, a ringfort. A single isolated circular feature with in situ burning was uncovered at the southern bounds of the site, while three pits with fills of fire-cracked stone and a nearby spread of burnt stone were uncovered on the western side of the site.
