The Friary is located on the east side of Killarney and was built in 1842. A medieval water stoop was relocated to the Friary from Innishfallen Island and the Friary therefore has an RMP designation. Test excavation was carried out on the east side of the Friary in advance of minor developmental works. This did not uncover any archaeological remains.
