Monitoring took place of groundworks associated with the removal of an access track and concrete monopole base at Dromavally, Tralee, that had been constructed without the presence of a monitoring archaeologist. Previous works had found that the development had intruded on a fulacht fiadh and the possible exterior remains of an embanked enclosure. No archaeological material was uncovered. Although it is likely that this was the area in which the fulacht fiadh was located, the base of the monopole was excavated to the underlying boulder clay and digging in this area would have left no subsurface trace of the archaeological monument.
