Pre-development testing was undertaken at the site of a proposed development of five dwelling-houses at Pollroebuck, Loughrea. In the five trenches excavated, the stratigraphy generally consisted of sod and topsoil overlying bedrock. The only finds were fragments of 20th-century delft and glass. No features of archaeological significance were revealed.
